What I love about San Jose!

            San Jose is a big populated city. I love San Jose for the following three reasons: It has a comfortable climate. San Jose has many good educational institutes, Lastly San Jose is mostly crime free.

            Of all the cities San Jose has one of the best climates. San Jose is comfortably warm and cold. The temperatures are 60-85 degrees! Rarely it is harshly warm or cold. 

            San Jose have many good universities like San Jose State University and Santa Clara university. But San Jose is only ten miles away from a great university, Stanford. It is also close to other great universities like university of California Berkeley and University of California San Francisco. San Jose also has many great elementary schools. The elementary school I go to is one of the best. We have many smart and hard working students. Our school has scored one of the highest ranking in GATE testing! Also the chess team in our school is the 6th best in Ca!!

            Lastly San Jose is mostly crime free. San Jose's neighborhoods are mostly crime free. My neighborhood is mostly crime free like many others. In my neighborhood the past three years there has only been one robbery, at my neighbors house. By luck that robbery failed because the owner of that house came back in time. 

            In all San Jose is a very good city with a good climate, Good education, and being mostly crime free. I would recommend  people in other cities to take a visit to San Jose. The people in San Jose should be proud of themselves.

   John A. Fisher is a concerned parent. He believes that garden education is vital to the future of children.  His article, "Growing the Kinder-Garden" argues that schools should teach garden education. In order to convince his audience, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt, appeals to logos, and uses collective pronouns.      First of all, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt into his audience. He talks about how children in today's society barely know about gardening. He provides a strong point stating that, "if you have a young child, ask him or her where food comes from. Don't be surprised if the answer you get is 'From the store!'" This shows that most children don't know where food truly comes from. They are so isolated from the real world of farming, they think that food comes from the stores. In reality, all food comes from farms and gardens. Kids these days are becoming obese. Positive Outlook Essay

     If a glass is filled halfway, is the glass half-full or half-empty? This is a commonly asked question to test a person's outlook. Although both choices are correct, each represents a different outlook. If they say it's half full then they are most likely a positive person. If they say it's half empty then they're most likely a negative person. Having a negative outlook on life can be pretty depressing. However, this is not permanent. It can be fixed.
