The borrowers afloat

Characters

The borrowers were a family of small humans only half a foot tall. They lived with regular sized humans who provided them a proper home and food.

Plot

One day the borrowers came to know that the regular sized humans they lived with were moving away. The borrowers were left with the home but no food. So they decided to go look out for a new home. They decided to go down a river to see where fate takes them. They used an old tea kettle as a boat.  Whenever they need food they stopped by the river to find some berries. They slept in the tea kettle everyday with little room.  They lived like this for days.

Solution

Soon The Borrowers discovered an old house that was big enough for the family. By the house was a small farming land. The place looked like it hadn't been used in years. This house couldn't be handled by any other species other than theirs. The Borrowers soon realized that this area used to be home of the people of their kind! They settled there. They got food from their farm, and had a proper home. So they lived  happily ever after.
