Oliver Twist


Characters

     Oliver is an orphan. His mother died giving him birth, and his father went missing.

Plot 

     Oliver works at a workhouse. The owner was very abusive. He abused Oliver daily. So Oliver ran away to London. There, a criminal named Fagin, takes Oliver into his gang. Oliver quickly becomes a pickpocket and a burglar. One day, while breaking into a house he got shot. A gentleman named Mr. Brownlow takes Oliver home. Mr. Brownlow healed and cared for Oliver. This was a life changing event for Oliver. Oliver learned the value of life. Oliver let go of his life as a criminal, and lives with Mr. Brownlow. Soon his father was found dead. He was a wealthy man. He left Oliver lots of money. Oliver successfully claimed the money. Fagin conspires to get the money.

Solution

     A young lady named Nancy was a gang member of Fagin. She cared about Oliver. So Nancy warns Oliver that Fagin is after him. Oliver was able to save himself by hiding. So Fagin murders Nancy for giving away his plan. Soon the police found Nancy dead. So  the police tracked Fagin down. Fagin got hanged for his crime. Later on, Mr. Brownlow adopts Oliver and they lived happily ever after.

Response To Literature: "Both Sides of the Fence"

The story, "Both Sides of the Fence" by Teresa Bateman describes a character named Alberto who learns a valuable lesson, to not be selfish. Alberto owns a very beautiful tree. Alberto brags about his tree to the whole city. His neighbor Juan admires and reaches out to Alberto. Since Juan was admiring something that did not belong to him, Alberto got mad. Alberto wanted to stop Juan from looking at his tree. So to block Jaun's view he built a giant fence. In the middle of the story, Alberto's tree's branches lean over to Jaun's land. Later on, the tree dropped some apples on Jaun's land.  Juan made an apple cake and gave it to Alberto as a thank you gift.  Even after building the giant fence Juan still had access to Alberto's apples.  Alberto thought that Juan was insulting him. I want to address the privacy practices of Healthcare industry. As a computer scientist I have already made strides in exposing data leaks in systems. I want to institute the provacy practices to secure the medical data.
