Dear Poe,

I have read and studied your poem along with my class. Your poem is very gloomy and sad. It almost made me cry.  I think your poem has a lot of mystery, depression, and loneliness. I just wish your life was happier. I feel very sad for the way your life turned up.

Your poem The Raven makes me feel very lonely just like you are. Your poem could use a little excitement, and that is what I didn't like. I suggest you make your life more exciting. That will  make your poems more exciting.  In order to have a happy life is to think positive. So your life probably turned out very sad because you think too much about of your lost Lenore. You should just move on with your life. You should get remarried, or move to different place, etc.

My favorite stanza was stanza number four, someone is at your door at very late hour at night.  It crept me out! It was very mysterious. I can’t imagine how your life must be, it is probably very scary. That is just how the poem makes me feel, creepy and gloomy.

I wonder if this Lenore of yours is married to you. Is she? Because in the poem it says she is a maiden, and it sounds like you care about her so much. Why didn't to get married to her?

did you really ever meet a raven like you did in the poem because if that is true, you just saw something very rare and exciting in my city. tsomthing you could write about to bring some change in mood.

Well, In conclusion, the poem you wrote the raven is a very good poem. it made me go through an emotional ride I hope to read your other poems to go through similar rides of emotion. I hope you will find a better way to live in a happy way.

Sincerely,

Arjun Agrawal
