Characters/setting

     This story takes place in a world called Kaglash. This planet has six suns. Thus night is something uncommon over there. The "humans" who live have never seen the dark. The humans hate the dark and get claustrophobia when in the dark. One astronomer named Beenay, discovers something that could change their civilization forever. To his calculations, in one year all five of their suns will set and the other sun will be eclipsed. Thus causing darkness on the top hemisphere.

  
Plot

      When the eclipse occurs, almost everyone goes insane. They did everything to get light. They burned any thing flammable. Thus burning the city down. Fourteen hours later, when the eclipse was over, majority of the people were dead. the insane people killed each other in madness and committed suicide in fear. Only a handful of smart individuals who saw the darkness coming, survived. They were scientist and a group of religious frantics survive normal.

Solution

The scientists, and frantics decided to join to each other to recreate a new and improved civilization for the sake of mankind.

   John A. Fisher is a concerned parent. He believes that garden education is vital to the future of children.  His article, "Growing the Kinder-Garden" argues that schools should teach garden education. In order to convince his audience, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt, appeals to logos, and uses collective pronouns.      First of all, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt into his audience. He talks about how children in today's society barely know about gardening. He provides a strong point stating that, "if you have a young child, ask him or her where food comes from. Don't be surprised if the answer you get is 'From the store!'" This shows that most children don't know where food truly comes from. Although both choices are correct, each represents a different outlook. If they say it's half full then they are most likely a positive person.
