The Son Of Neptune 
    Have you ever read the great book, The Son of Neptune? If you haven't, I am sure you would enjoy it. Rick Riordan's book is great for three reasons: it has lots adventurous moments, consent action, and copious humor.

      To start off, the book The Son of Neptune is very adventurous. The main character, Percy Jackson, has lost his memory, and the only way he can revive it is by going to the antarctic and fetching a magical golden eagle. This golden eagle can heal anything, so Percy goes on a quest to the antarctic to get it. On the way he encounters many different gods, monsters, and cyclops. Percy has to fight and get through all these obstacles in order to achieve his goal. The book creates so many vivid images in the reader's mind. You can almost see Percy determined to achieve his goal! This book will create a whole new meaning of "adventure" in your mind

      Next, The Son of Neptune is full of action. Percy wields an enchanted sword that always find its way back to its master. He uses this sword to fight all the monsters he encounters. He fights with all his might, barely surviving. Swords clash everywhere. Bows snipe into monsters' hearts. All the action keeps the reader at the edge of his/her seat. It glues one's eyes to the book as s/he  tries to find out who survived and who died. The book's impact of action will blow you off you seat.

      Lastly, The Son of Neptune is very funny. One of the humorous parts is when Percy encounters some evil old ladies. Percy keeps trying to kill them, but no matter what he does, they always come back, even when Percy cuts their heads off. This is why this book is hilarious! 

     The Son of Neptune is a good book for so many reasons. Firstly, is very adventurous because Percy goes on a big quest. Next, it has a lot of action through all the fighting Percy and his friends experience. Lastly, it is extremely hilarious. I enjoyed this book. I would recommend that you read this book too, and I am sure that you will enjoy it.

He believes that garden education is vital to the future of children.  His article, "Growing the Kinder-Garden" argues that schools should teach garden education. In order to convince his audience, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt, appeals to logos, and uses collective pronouns.      First of all, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt into his audience. He talks about how children in today's society barely know about gardening. He provides a strong point stating that, "if you have a young child, ask him or her where food comes from.
