Joe and the dragon

It was an early sunny morning out in Joe's backyard. Joe was very poor and was hopelessly trying to find something valuable out there. After one hour of digging, Joe had struck something big and white! They were dragon bones! Joe knew that Ancient bones were worth a lot of money. But before he sold them he wanted to play around with them first.

When Joe put all the pieces together nicely, he fiddled around and threw an apple in its mouth as if it was a basketball hoop. As the apple went in the mouth and reached the stomach, the dragon began to glow!! It was transforming into a real dragon!! It seemed as if the apple was a catalyst for dragon to come to life. At the same moment of excitement, Joe was a little sad; he could have sold those bones for a high price.

 The dragon had a very distinct color of black as a shadow, with blue stripes as star, thus Joe decided to name it ShadowStar. Shadowstar was always following. It it purred and licked Joe. This was an indication that Shadowstar wanted to be friends with Joe. Thus, Joe wanted to teach and train ShadowStar in three things, fighting, how to fly, and in strategy  Joe taught him how to fly and blow fire. Day-by-Day ShadowStar got better at it. For strategy Joe taught ShadowStar chess. ShadowStar totally failed at chess. Soon ShadowStar could fly, breathe out fire, and was potty trained too. Joe realized that Shadowstar made a great fighter, maybe they could watch over the city and stop crime. But since Shadowstar didn't know much strategy. But since Joe was very smart, he could be a watch-over sidekick for Shadowstar. He could be riding Shadowstar the whole time and be telling Shadowstar where and when to shoot out fire on criminals. This made them an unstoppable team.

One day there was a robbery at the bank of five million dollars. This money was supposed to be used to build new roads!! This was Joe’s chance to save the day for the town. Joe flew out of his house with Shadowstar. When they got to the bank, Joe and ShadowStar charged at the group of robbers. Joe told Shadowstar where to shoot and they eventually created a ring of fire around the robbers. They had no escape! But one of the robbers blackmailed Joe to let them out or incinerate all the money in the fire! Joe didn't know what to do. But at the heat of the moment, the cops arrived, went through the fire with their fire resistant coats and busted the mischievous group of men. It was all over! Joe and ShadowStar had saved the day! They had stopped the robbers from escaping and gave enough time for the cops to come and arrest them. From then on Joe was known as the Bog-stopper for his brave acts is the robbery. He got a 34.68% of money that was stolen for saving the bank. That was a sum of 2.8 million dollars! Joe was no longer poor. It sure was rewarding to train a dragon. 
Joe and Shadowstar lived their lives in luxury in a smart house and a limousine  So they lived happily ever after.

Response To Literature: "Both Sides of the Fence"

The story, "Both Sides of the Fence" by Teresa Bateman describes a character named Alberto who learns a valuable lesson, to not be selfish. Alberto owns a very beautiful tree. Alberto brags about his tree to the whole city. His neighbor Juan admires and reaches out to Alberto. Since Juan was admiring something that did not belong to him, Alberto got mad. Alberto wanted to stop Juan from looking at his tree. So to block Jaun's view he built a giant fence. In the middle of the story, Alberto's tree's branches lean over to Jaun's land. Later on, the tree dropped some apples on Jaun's land.  Juan made an apple cake and gave it to Alberto as a thank you gift.  Even after building the giant fence Juan still had access to Alberto's apples.  Alberto thought that Juan was insulting him. Data Privacy in Medical Industry

I want to address the privacy practices of Healthcare industry. As a computer scientist I have already made strides in exposing data leaks in systems. I want to institute the provacy practices to secure the medical data.
