Hardy Boys


     Hardy boys are 2 kids that were named Joe and Frank. They always loved adventures  They were curious detectives. They loved to help people in need. One day Joe and Frank got an assignment to solve a mystery. Alden was a famous car designer and an owner of a car company. But someone had been after his car designs. Alden asked Joe and Frank to capture and stop these thieves. So Joe and Frank got behind the case.

 First, they looked for people in Alden's company to see if any of them knew anything about Alden's car design. But they found out that no one had seen the full design of the cars besides Alden. So the boys went around with the designs to see if anybody recognized them. Only one person hesitated and tried to run away, was Dodson. Dodson who was part of a gang. He was a suspect, so the boys quickly captured him.

 After much questioning, Dodson told them about Alden's son Rodger who was interested in the design. Boys question Roger and discovered that he was trying steal the designs, for money. Boys told him to come clean with his father. The mystery was solved. Dudson and his men were in prison. The boys also found out from Dodson that his boss, Vilson had been breaking into Alden's office at night and stealing the designs.

 The gang head was now Vilson. Now his business was down. He was seeking revenge from Hardy Boys. So he started another mischief to get some money. He started to loot people on the highway during big event like Drag Races. He put up a sign that was so bright that it would blind drivers temporarily.  Drivers would stop, and Vilson would take all their belongings.

 The boys tried to figure out which gangster was doing this, but there was only one left, Vilson. So the boys guessed maybe Vilson was doing all this. Just to make sure the boys spied on Vilson, but  Vilson was expecting them.  He kidnapped the boys and locked them in a sealed room. After much time Hardy boys figured out the escape through A/C  Luckily, Joe was small and was able to fit through. As soon as Joe got out he opened the door for Frank. They both escaped.

 After escaping they called the police to help them capture Vilson. So the police came surrounded Vilson and captured him. Vilson was imprisoned. The town was now at peace.

   John A. Fisher is a concerned parent. He believes that garden education is vital to the future of children.  His article, "Growing the Kinder-Garden" argues that schools should teach garden education. In order to convince his audience, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt, appeals to logos, and uses collective pronouns.      First of all, Fisher instills a feeling of guilt into his audience. He talks about how children in today's society barely know about gardening. He provides a strong point stating that, "if you have a young child, ask him or her where food comes from. Don't be surprised if the answer you get is 'From the store!'" This shows that most children don't know where food truly comes from.      If a glass is filled halfway, is the glass half-full or half-empty? This is a commonly asked question to test a person's outlook. Although both choices are correct, each represents a different outlook. If they say it's half full then they are most likely a positive person.
